Description
RCA HDV5000 – Toshiba HD-XA1 Version 4.0 cross-flash
RCA never provided downloadable HDV5000 firmware ISOs (network update only, now dead). Per HD-DVD.org and community documentation, the HDV5000 can use Toshiba HD-XA1 firmware. After flashing it will display Toshiba branding instead of RCA.

Update safety
- Do not interrupt power during the update.
