What are HDDVD Revived Discs?
We have sadly over the years had a few people see the blue-backed discs we use and had them yell, it's a copy or pirate (shudder), HDDVD-Revived firstly only operate with either licenced films or Public domain films, there are no pirates. So what makes us different from other Public domain companies?
Firstly, we press on-demand, which means we do not mass manufacture the discs, the reason for this is a bad call on mass production can lead to masses of deadstock that companies often recover by increasing prices across the board. By not making this mistake we keep overheads down.
Secondly, our items are always retail boxed. It seems weird that this is a difference but marketplaces such as Amazon are full of people selling low-quality burns in slip sleeves, it's lazy and lacks quality control.
Thirdly, we are the only company specializing in HD+, we create both HDDVD and UHD discs, at the time of creation nobody else did this. There is a reason for this. At HDDVD revived we don't simply get a copy of a film and make a DVD, we hunt for the best source material we can, then after transcribing it, we use both manual and artificial intelligence methods to enhance the videos into a quality never before seen. For some films you would think they were shot for 4K, others don't look anywhere near true 4K but the resolution improvement is significant enough that it cant always be fully appreciated on DVD. Our Satanic rights of Dracula, invasion of the Bee Girls, and Saving James are examples of exceptional near true 4K enhanced videos, whereas popeye, Lianne jungle goddess and flash Gordon are examples of great improvement that falls short of true 4K, but we pride ourselves on continuous improvement. As the years pass we continue to hunt for any title we have remastered and given less than a 7/10 quality rating and hunt for better source (from VHS, Betamax, 16mm or 35mm film) while also funding and developing new methods for digital enhancements. Sometimes we make such astounding leaps in enhancement software we simply go back and re-remaster a title. The key for us is quality.
Our discs are available in VCD, DVD, AVCHD, HDDVD, and UHD formats. Please make sure you order a disc compatible with your equipment. Compatibility issues are known to exist with our first-gen UHD discs and Sony PS5 consoles, we are working to resolve this.

High-Quality Recoveries.
Our High-quality recoveries represent exceptional restoration and quality that would allow you to believe the creators of the production would always have intended for the film to be released on UHD. The best quality can only be appreciated on UHD Disc but is present across the board.

These are examples of films that have shown massive improvement but are still not ideal. Some of the distance shots in these films tend to still be out of focus and detail can be spotty. Whereas in other places amazing levels of detail can be restored. The rating is now because of inconsistent quality.
Liane, Jungle Goddess
Lianes many close-up shots have restored fantastically, with detail amazingly restored and any historic interlace combing seen on competing organizations discs completely restored. Distance detail and scenery at places leave something to be desired. It's astounding quality but doesn't feel like a true UHD production. However, you can see the improvement in quality in the screenshots below and it would not be fair to not release this to market and its High level of restoration can only be ap[preciated on HD+ discs so this film is available in all formats.
